Reduce Limits

The Reduce Limits function allows you to reduce your daily limit(s) for any service(s) you currently have available where a daily limit must be nominated (e.g. Pay Anyone, Telegraphic Transfer). This can be completed by choosing the Payments category from the top navigation menu and clicking on the Daily Limits item from the side navigation menu.

The Reduce Daily Limits screen will be displayed. The following information will be displayed for each service listed:

Payment Service

The name of the applicable payment service (e.g. Pay Anyone, Telegraphic Transfer).

Current Daily Limit

The current daily limit nominated for the applicable payment service.

Using the applicable radio button, select the Payment Service you wish to reduce the limit for. When you click inside the button, a dot will appear in the middle to indicate it is selected. You can only reduce the daily limit of one service at a time.

Enter your new reduced daily limit in the New Reduced Daily Limit field. Amounts should be entered as whole numbers (e.g. 1000). Depending on the service, we may impose restrictions on the amount that the limit can be reduced to.

Note: If future payments are already established, your daily limits can only be reduced to your projected highest future daily limit usage. For further details of your past/future usage refer to Show Past/Future Usage.

Action buttons

There are two action buttons available:

Apply Reduced Limits

Click the Apply Reduced Limits button to reduce your daily limit for the selected service.

Clear

Pressing the Clear button will clear the input fields on the screen.

Reduce Daily Limits - Approval Screen

After selecting the Apply Reduced Limits button you will be presented with the Reduce Daily Limits – Approval screen containing the information you have selected.

Action Buttons

There are two action buttons available:

Approve

Pressing the Approve button will reduce your daily limit to the amount specified. This is the final point where you can decide whether or not to proceed, so you should ensure the details are correct before selecting this option.

Cancel

Pressing the Cancel button will cancel the request and return you to the initial Daily Limits screen.
