Standard Charges

1. Bank Draft:

Standard Tariff

Issuing draft $10 ($5 - Shareholders*) or the equivalent foreign currency amount if drawn from a foreign currency account
Repurchase and reissue $20 ($15 - Shareholders*)

2. Telegraphic Transfers:

3. Foreign Currency Cheque and Drafts for Collection:

4. Documentary Import Bills for Collection:

Standard Tariff

Handling fee $75 or 0.30% of amount, whichever is greater (up to a maximum of $750) + $20 SWIFT fee
Extension of term $70 (includes $20 SWIFT fee)
Dishonour $70 (includes $20 SWIFT fee)
Protest $70 (includes $20 SWIFT fee)
Trade finance $50 fee + credit risk margin
Avalisation of Bill Credit risk margin (minimum $100) + $20 SWIFT fee
Documents released free of payment $75

5. Import Letter of Credit:

Standard Tariff

Establishment fee $100 or 0.45% of amount, whichever is greater, per six months or part thereof, + $20 SWIFT fee
Negotiation fee Nil
Amendments to increase value or validity past six months $100 or 0.45% of amount per six months or part thereof, + $20 SWIFT
All other amendments $70 (includes $20 SWIFT fee)
Drawings in excess of Letter of Credit value $100 or 0.45% of overdrawn amount, whichever is greater
Drawings under expired Letter of Credit $50
Issuing Bill of Lading Indemnity $75 pa. or part thereof
Airway Bill release $75 pa. or part thereof
Discrepancy fee - deducted from proceeds paid to exporter $100
Release of goods consigned to bank $75
Trade finance $50 fee + credit risk margin

Direct collections $75 minimum. Refer to International Trade Department for pricing
Documents delivered free of payment $70 (includes $20 SWIFT fee)
Courier costs $20 (local)

9. Export Letters of Credit:

Standard Tariff

Advising fee $75 - refunded if negotiated through Bendigo Bank
Negotiation $75 or 0.20% of amount, whichever is greater (up to a maximum of $900)
Confirmation $120 minimum. Refer to International Trade Department for pricing
Assignment of proceeds $120
Negotiation without recourse $120 minimum if not confirmed. Refer to International Trade Department for pricing
Courier costs $20 (local)
