Safer Drivers for Samford
Defensive Driving course at Lakeside Park, Kurwongbah

Samford and Brendale Community Bank® Branches sponsored local "L" and "P" plate drivers for a defensive driving course at Lakeside Park, Kurwongbah last September.

A great day was had by all the students and parents. A wealth of experience was gained and hopefully will enable these young drivers to be road safe and understand more about their cars in real life situations.

"On behalf of the parents and students we would like to say a huge Thank You to Bendigo Bank for organising the whole event," said Leanne Sinclair.

Volunteer Director Jason Delisser said the Bank held a community forum last year that identified youth driver education as one of several projects they would like the Community Bank® to support.

"We are pleased to have been able to help fund this program and respond to community concerns over young driver safety."
