Hospital receives financial injection

An upgrade to the Cummins and District Memorial Hospital’s patient rooms is one step closer, thanks to an additional $20,000 donation from Cummins District Community Bank® Branch.
The linoleum floor throughout the whole hospital will be replaced, and seven patient rooms, including the children’s ward, will be upgraded with bathrooms and heating where necessary to make the hospital more comfortable and pleasant for patients.
The upgrade is expected cost $200,000, with gifting from the Cummins District Community Bank® Branch totalling $70,000.
The hospital received the grant as part of the program administered by Community Enterprise Foundation™.
