Connecting youth
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank recognise and value the contribution young people make to a community. But we see a need to better engage our young people in civic and business life, promoting their development and fostering in them a sense of community and an appreciation of the positive impact they can have on their district's prospects.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is the underwriter of the Lead On youth development program which started in Bendigo in 1999 and has since expanded into 10 locations Australia-wide.
The program is open to all young people and aims to work with local businesses to engage youth in commercial and community projects which give them a better understanding of how their community works.
