A thriving sustainable garden

Clovelly Community Bank® Branch is a proud supporter of this project and in partnership with the sustainability department of Randwick City Council is looking forward to seeing what the children grow in their new patch.

Since it was first developed, the garden has been a source of joy and learning for the pre-school aged children who attend the centre three days a week.

The children have learnt how to plant a seed, water it and watch it grow into a vegetable or a piece of fruit all ready to eat.

This is great for understanding that food doesn't just have to come out of a packet and food can be grown ourselves from scratch with a bit of love and attention.

We look forward to seeing the successful harvests of corn, strawberries, carrots, passionfruit and even mangoes and oranges with any luck.
