Braidwood Community Bank® Branch
A group of interested community members were briefed on 28 October 2000 in
relation to the proposal to establish a Community BankŪ in Braidwood. Subsequently‚
a committee was formed to evaluate the proposal.
A public meeting was held on 7 December 2000 to outline the proposal to the
community‚ and to determine if sufficient interest was evident to continue.
After successfully achieving the nominated pledge total of $350‚000‚ the committee
engaged an independent consultant to conduct a feasibility study in relation
to the proposal. This study determined that a total of $410‚500 of shareholder's
funds would be necessary before the doors could open. One month after the opening
and at the close of the prospectus‚ 13 months after its issue‚ the shareholding
total was over $506‚000.
The branch was officially opened for business on 7 September 2002.

Bungendore Community Bank® Branch
A significant amount of work and public
consultation has been undertaken in
relation to the feasibility of establishing
the Bungendore Community BankŪ Branch
of Bendigo Bank.
A group of interested community
members was briefed by Bendigo Bank
on 15 September 2004 in relation to the
proposal to establish the Bungendore Community BankŪ Branch and a
committee was formed to evaluate the
proposal.
A preliminary public meeting was held
to discuss the Community BankŪ concept
and the steps required to establish a Community BankŪ Branch of Bendigo Bank
in Bungendore. As a result‚ the Company
engaged an independent consultant‚ AFS
& Associates‚ to conduct a feasibility
study in relation to the proposal.
The results of the feasibility study
were presented to the committee at a
meeting held on 23 May 2005 and it was
unanimously voted to proceed towards
the establishment of the Bungendore Community BankŪ Branch.
The Bungendore Community BankŪ Branch was officially opened on the 28th June 2006.
