The Account Descriptions screen allows you to update the description/name of each of your accounts to allow easy identification of your accounts within Bendigo e-banking.

Choose the Accounts category from the top navigation menu and click the Display Options item from the side navigation menu. This will display the Account Descriptions screen listing all of your accounts as per the Account Balances screen.

The following information will be displayed:

Account Description

Each of the current account descriptions is displayed in an input field where it can be changed. To update the system with any changes you make you must select the Update button.

BSB - Account Number

The BSB number and account number of each account is displayed in this column. These are the numbers you should use to direct funds to or from your account using external systems such as Direct Debits, Direct Credits or other bank’s Pay Anyone services.

Current Balance

The current balance of each account is listed.

Available Funds

The current balance less any amounts on hold (e.g. credit card purchases or cheque deposits).

Customer Number

Shows a Bendigo Bank generated customer number and ledger for each account listed.

Action Buttons

There are two action buttons available:

Update

Pressing the Update button will transfer you to a confirmation screen where you can accept or decline the changes you have entered.

Reset

Pressing the Reset button will discard any changes you have made on the screen and return the Account Descriptions to their previous values.

Note: The Account Descriptions you enter are only visible within Bendigo e-banking and will not appear on any statements or correspondence we send to you for these accounts. These descriptions are visible to other Account Signatories when they logon to their Bendigo e-banking session and view the same accounts as you. To see a list of the Account Signatories for each of your accounts choose the Accounts category fromt he top navigation menu and click on the Account Signatories item from the side navigation menu. Any change to the Account Descriptions will not affect your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions governing the account and/or Bendigo e-banking included in the Disclosure Documents applicable to that account.
