General Overview
Approved business customers can upload payroll files (in an ABA format) using the Bendigo Bulk Payments facility. Bendigo Bulk Payments will allow a one-withdrawal transaction to cover the total value of the file.
Upload
For accounts where you have an Access Limit of Full Access you will be able to Upload, Accept and Authorise Bulk Payment files. For accounts where you have an Access Limit of No Withdrawals you will be able to Upload only. You can view the Access Limit on each of your accounts by using the Account Signatories function under the Accounts menu.
To commence the Bulk Payments process, choose the Payments category from the top navigation menu and click the Bulk Payments item from the side navigation menu. If you are not registered for the Bulk Payments service a message will appear to advise you of this and you will need to contact us on 1300 BENDIGO (1300 236 344) or visit your local branch for further advice.
If you are already registered for the service you will see the Bulk Payments - Upload screen tab. From this screen you can upload a Bulk Payment file of credit transactions (in ABA format). The Bulk Payments - Upload screen contains the following information:
File Location / Browse button
Select the location of the file you wish to upload by typing the details in the File Location field or use the Browse button to locate the file on your PC or network drive.
Action Buttons
There are two action buttons available:
Upload File
Pressing the Upload File button will start the upload process. Once the file has been uploaded and validated you will be presented with a summary of the file contents and requested to Confirm Upload or Stop Upload. If you Confirm Upload the file will be added to your Pending Acceptance list. For further details refer to Pending
Acceptance. If you select to Stop Upload the file will be deleted.
Clear
Pressing the Clear button will clear the input fields
on the screen.
