the side navigation menu.
The Send Secure Email screen will then be displayed containing the following information:
To
This field will contain only the Bank's internal department names. If you want to send an email to a recipient other than Bendigo Bank, you will need to use your own email program supplied to you by your Internet Service Provider.
Category
An optional field where you can provide a general classification of the type of query you are asking (e.g. Account Inquiry, e-banking Inquiry, Card Inquiry). You may select an appropriate category from the drop down list labelled Category to allow us to direct your query to a more specific area.
Subject
Enter a short description of your Secure Email message. Where possible, the subject line you enter should be relevant to the content of your email, and should convey the main purpose of your email message.
Type your message in the area provided directly below the
Subject box.
You can press the Return or Enter key on your keyboard to force line breaks within your message. Line breaks can be used to format your text, start new paragraphs, or simply to help the text to fit neatly into the box.
Secure Email allows up to 2560 characters per message, including spaces, and will not accept attachments.
Note: If you take too long to type a Secure Email message you could be timed out and lose the information you have written. You will then have to start again. If you need to type a lengthy Secure Email message it is best to use a standard text editor (e.g. Word) and then cut and paste the text from that program into the Secure Email message field just prior to sending.
