The past 12 months has seen Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Community Enterprise Foundation™ continue to work with communities throughout Australia. During this time the Foundation administered 182 community grants programs; distributed more than $9 million in grants and delivered 70 youth scholarships.

Virginia SA April 2013
The South Australian community of Two Wells took up the challenge – or more accurately, the Challenge Grant – to help fund a $500,000 sports facility redevelopment.

Bundaberg QLD March 2013
The Bundaberg branch of Bendigo Bank funded The Salvation Army to purchase a $100,000 Emergency Vehicle and Mobile Catering Trailer as a result of the 2011 floods.
In 2013, the community flooded again and the emergency vehicle hit Bundaberg’s roads for the first time on Wednesday 27th January 2013 and hasn’t stopped.
An appeal has been launched by the branch to raise further money to assist locals.

Mt Gambier SA March 2013
Congratulations to the young people throughout Australia who have embarked on their tertiary studies and benefited from this year’s round of Community Bank® scholarships.
Together with the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Chairman’s scholarships, this year 127 students throughout Australia received more than $700,000 in first and second year scholarships.

Maryborough’s Palliative Care unit is officially launched and open - now it’s time for the community to dig deep to raise funds for a $1.2 million Wellness and Support Centre.
