Protecting Your Card
Sign your card as soon as you receive it.
Do not let anyone else use your card.
Do not let anyone else know your PIN.
Do not let anyone else see your PIN when you enter it into an ATM or EFTPOS terminal.
Do not write your PIN on your card, or keep your PIN in your wallet.
Try to memorise your PIN. If you record your PIN, disguise it.
Do not choose a PIN that is easily identified with you (for example, don't use your phone number, postcode or date of birth).
Do not reveal your PIN to anyone, even if contacted by someone claiming to be from the Bendigo Bank.
If you are not using your card anymore or it has expired, destroy it immediately by cutting it in half diagonally.
When using your card to make online purchases, only deal with reputable and secure sites that use a high standard of encryption.
When you make an online purchase, print out a copy of the receipt for your records.
Regularly check your account balance and bank statements and report any discrepancies to us immediately by contacting any Bendigo Bank Branch or calling Customer Help on 1300 361 911.
Notify us immediately if your card has been lost, stolen or used by someone else.
Notify us immediately if your PIN has been compromised.
