More about our branch
What's happening
Do good. Do more. And do well.
Mt Eliza Community Bank Branch returns most of its profit directly to the Mt Eliza community. See how we've been doing just that.
Mt Eliza events
Mt Eliza Community Bank Branch supports many local community events in the village with our sponsorships and volunteer team.
Through partnerships with the Mt Eliza Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Mt Eliza we are there to assist at the Gig on the Green, the Carols on the Green, the monthly Mt Eliza Farmers’ Market, the Australia Day community BBQ, and the Bark in the Park dog expo.
It’s events like these that bring our community together.

We're committed to supporting local communities
Yes, it's time to feel good about who you bank with. Our Community Bank® branches give up to 80% of profits back to the community. We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community.
Mt Eliza Community Pitch
We run our sponsorship applications and distributions through an annual event - the Mt Eliza Community Pitch.
Please note that we do not accept sponsorship applications outside the Community Pitch process.
The event was last held in August 2019. With 12 local businesses, two generous philanthropists and the Mt Eliza Community Bank Branch handing out $40,000 across nine of our local community not for profit organisations.
The Mt Eliza Community Pitch is promoted in the lead up to it, with information available in our branch, in our quarterly newsletter, on our Facebook page and here on our website. Please keep an eye out for these promotions if you want to apply.
There are some important selection criteria. All applicants must:
- Have an account at the Mt Eliza Community Bank Branch
- Be an incorporated association, have a DGR status, or be a community not-for-profit organisation
- Be geographically located and operate in the wider Mt Eliza area
- Submit an application for their project that has broad community benefit
- Be applying for funding as the recipient of that funding (i.e. not fundraising on behalf of a third party)
- Be available to deliver a five-minute ‘pitch’ at the annual event
