From Torquay, Anglesea, Winchelsea and Lorne with love

13 February 2020

On Saturday, fifteen truckloads of hay will leave these coastal regions bound for Bairnsdale. They will be distributed to livestock in the East Gippsland farming region.

Joining forces the Community Bank company, which operates branches in Lorne, Anglesea and Winchelsea, and our corporate branch in Torquay have committed funds for the hay run organised by the Lions Club.

The hay, valued at more than $70,000, was donated by local farmers throughout the region and further afield in Cobden and Camperdown.

Further funds will be made available as more requests from hay come in from the Victorian Farmers Federation.

We look forward to sharing where the rest of the collaborative Community Bank and Community Enterprise funds are distributed in coming days and weeks.

Thank you!
