Make sure it’s relevant

The employer wants to know if you’re the right person for the job. So tell them all the things that make you the best person for the job.
Things like: school grades, software skills, past work, sporting and other group you belong to.
Include things that will help tell them you’re the one for the job!

Keep it short and sweet

There are usually lots of people applying for jobs, so keep it short and sweet.
You’re the best for the job - so make sure you tell them about why you are so good!
Don’t forget to get a friend, teacher or even parent to read it to ensure it makes sense.

Got someone who can talk about how good you are?

Do you know a teacher, old boss, or someone at a group you belong that can talk about you (in a good way)?
You can list them as a referee or get a referee statement to attach to your resume to increase your WOW factor.
