Robert Joseph Gavagna
: Company Director
Background Information: 
Robert heads a long established family company that used to trade prominently as importers‚ distributors and retailers of wines‚ beverages and foods. Robert has many years of successful experience in general management and company directorship.
His prior work experiences were with Olivetti and the Australian Japan Container Line. Those experiences included training and management activities in Florence‚ New York and Japan.
Robert resides in Pyrmont and is actively involved in local community organisations including Strata Plan Executive Committee (Chairman); Pyrmont Cares Incorporated; Friends of Pyrmont Point; Blackwattle Cove Coalition and others. He is a past vice president of the Italian Opera Foundation Australia Ltd as well as a past deputy Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sydney.

Charles Perry

Background Information: 
Charles has had a long career in the public service having worked in the Australian Taxation Office‚ Department of Health and Defence and the Public Service Board where he was heavily involved in reviewing the operations of various government departments.
For six years Charles held the post of Human Resource Manager of Australian National Railways where he helped manage an extensive modernisation program.
In recent years he has been working with international consulting firm‚ Proudfoot Consulting‚ on business re-engineering projects for Australian organisations including AMP; Australian Post; BHP Billiton and others.
Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administration and Masters of Business Administration degrees.
Now in semi-retirement‚ Charles is actively involved in community work having been a founding member of Friends of Pyrmont Point and Pyrmont Progress Inc.

Patricia Strong 
University Lecturer
Background Information
: Patricia (Trish) is currently an academic at the University of New South Wales lecturing in accounting to undergraduate and post-graduate students. Trish has previously taught accounting in the UK‚ Hong Kong and other Australian universities.
Trish has more than 20 years business experience holding roles including management accountant; branch accountant; cost analyst; change agent – IS implementations; training & development manager; and process improvement coordinator.
Trish has enjoyed a successful international career working in UK‚ Europe‚ Asia and Australia.
Trish holds Bachelor of Social Science (Hons) and Masters of Business Administration degrees and is a certified management accountant. She has also just submitted her PhD in the emergence of integrated reporting. Trish has been an an active member of the local community through her involvement with Jacksons Landing Community Association and St Bede's Church.

Ian Gregory Bulluss
: Senior Manager (Retired)
Background Information
:Ian has had a long career in public service. Having originally trained as a teacher‚ he went on to broaden his work within the human services sector of NSW Government.
Working in the NSW shared services model for the Departments of Community Services‚ Housing‚ Ageing and Disability and Home Care‚ Ian was responsible for supply line management that drove real cost savings and efficiencies through the streamlining of procurement and contract management.
Ian is a registered Justice of the Peace and holds a Diploma in Teaching‚ Bachelor of Arts‚ Graduate Certificate in Management, Master of Computing Studies and a Masters of Business Administration.
Ian is an active member of the community‚ working with Pyrmont Cares Incorporated and community charitable events.


John Leslie Hoff
: Commercial Airline Pilot (retired)/ Fruitier
Background Information: 
John is retried a QANTAS captain. As a senior captain‚ John has trained pilots for many years on B747 aircraft both in flight simulators and aircraft. John also conducted pilot assessments for license renewals and promotions and was/is a mentor for junior pilots.
John holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science, Winemaking/Viticulture. John has a strong commitment to community groups and is an active member of Friends of Pyrmont Point and Pyrmont Cares Incorporated.

Ashley Leander Limbury
: Conflict Resolution and Mediation Consultant
Background Information
: Ashley is a conflict management specialist who provides mediation services in workplace and anti-discrimination matters; commercial mediation including retail tenancy matters; facilitation services and training in negotiation and mediation.
Ashley holds a M.B.A. (University of Technology) and B.Ec. (Soc.Sci.) (Hons.) (Sydney University).
Ashley is the former chairman of the LEADR NSW local executive; and was formerly in corporate and line Human Resources with Qantas.
Ashley's activities in the local community include four years as a committee member of an Owners Corporation and chairman of the Owners Corporation for the last year. As a local resident‚ Ashley participated in several NSW Maritime consultations regarding developments of a green open park and dragon boat facility in Bank Street and the redevelopment of the Fish Markets. Ashley is a local dragon boat participant and accredited sweep.

John Marsden
: Retired Commercial Pilot
Background Information: 
John is a retired Qantas pilot having flown 747's for over 18 years. Prior to joining Qantas‚ John served 21 years in the Australian Army where he rose to the rank of major.
During his army aviation career‚ John flew spotter aircraft in Vietnam‚ supervised students‚ flying instructors and the course syllabus for the varied fixed wing flying courses at the School of Army Aviation. John also commanded aircraft detachments on survey operations in Sumatra‚ West Papua‚ Papua New Guinea and the Antarctic.
For his distinguished service in managing the introduction of Nomad aircraft into army aviation‚ John was awarded the Air Force Cross.
John is a member of the RSL and assists with local charities.

Margaret Broadbent
: Practicing Registered Nurse
Background Information: 
On completion of hospital based training at Bowral in 1962 Margaret has worked as a registered nurse in the areas of general nursing‚ developmental delay‚ aged care‚ community health‚ midwifery‚ orthopaedics and rheumatology. She is currently employed on a casual basis in drug rehabilitation.
Margaret has been a member of and active in a number of professional organisations‚ most recently on the Executive of the NSW Wound Care Association and has been involved with many community groups including a number of Parent and Citizen Associations‚ the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre‚ the Surry Hills Society‚ Friends of Rachel Forster Hospital‚ Pyrmont Progress Incorporated and on the committee of an Owners Corporation.

Sylvia Liu
Occupation: Company Director
Sylvia has worked in financial, technology, real estate and medical industries in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States. Employers have included Citibank, IBM, a real estate workout specialist firm and a psychotherapist practice and school. Sylvia has held managerial positions in Administration and Finance Management, Customer Service, Recruitment and Training.
Sylvia founded the Fusion Culture Group and started the Fusion Tai Chi at Harris Community Centre and English Friendship Club at Ultimo Community Centre with the aim to bring people and cultures together through interactive and fun learning.
Sylvia's qualifications include: HR Development Program (Sydney TAFE); Real Estate Sales & Appraisal Program (New York University); Executive Training Program.

Raymond Tai
Occupation: Investment Manager
Raymond has been involved in executive roles in not for profit community organisations for two decades. He is a shareholder in the company and is passionate about making lasting and positive contributions to society.
Raymond is a water sports enthusiast and an advocate for a water sports centre in Bank Street that can provide access to our bays and Sydney Harbour for paddlers and local residents.
Professionally he has held roles as an investment manager, a financial consultant and a deal maker in the IT industry across Asia Pacific.
Raymond's qualifications include: Bachelor of Economics, CPA, MAICD

John O'Meally AM RFD
Occupation: Judge (District Court of NSW)
John is an accredited mediator and is on the list of the NSW Bar Association's list of mediators and arbitrators for cases in the Supreme Court and the District Court of NSW.
John is a Law graduate from the University of Sydney and was admitted to NSW, Aust. and Papua New Guinea and Western Pacific Bars. He is a member of the Council of the Aust. Section of the International Commission of Jurists and President of the NSW Branch of the Australian Section of ICJ.
In 2002 John became a Member of the Order of Australia.
