Etienne has served as a director of Fern Tree Gully & Rowville Financial Services since 2004. Married with two children, Etienne has lived in Rowville since 1988, is the National Sales Manager for an automation company and holds strong community interests with numerous local service clubs.

John Surridge
John has lived in Ferntree Gully for 30 years and has 40 years’ experience in all facets of banking. He has also had experience in a medium size business which gives him a greater understanding of the needs of business customers. Having worked in the industry for so many years John believes the Community Bank® branch concept is second to none; by keeping your capital locally, the bank is able to invest in Ferntree Gully and Rowville through sponsorship and grants programs. No other financial institution does this. His interests are golf and football and community groups that the bank helps out.

Des Higginbotham
Des Higginbotham
Des Higginbotham's first career was as a secondary school teacher. Since 1987 he has been a newsagency proprietor, first in Upper Gully and since 1991 in Ferntree Gully Village. He is currently President of the Lower Gully Traders Association Inc.

Tony Holland
Tony Holland
Tony Holland joined the board over two years ago and brings to it a wealth of business experience. He has assisted many charities over the years including Bonnie Babes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis and the Small Miracles Foundation. Tony lives locally with his partner Wendy and their five children. He loves to serve and help the community.

Phil Reibelt
Phil Reibelt
Phillip has lived in the local community since 1999. He joined the board in 2007 and works for a global services company as Workforce Manager. Phillip has a qualification in Disaster Management and experience in risk management, process mapping and workforce optimisation.


Richard Best
I am a long time resident of Ferntree Gully, now semi retired. I have been a solicitor for 27 years specialising in contract and property law as well as commercial leasing. Before entering law I was a secondary school teacher for ten years. I am married with 2 adult children. I am also a camping enthusiast and love traveling locally and overseas.

Tina began working for Bendigo Bank in the year 2000 in a part-time capacity. She progressed to Branch Manager and is now the Business Development Manager of the Ferntree Gully and Rowville branches. Tina is married with two children. Her hobby is motorbike riding and she is learning to play golf.

Mick has worked in the banking industry for the past 35 years, the last 12 years within Bendigo Bank as Branch Manager at two Community Bank® branches. He has a Diploma of Management, Diploma of Retail Management and a Graduate Certificate of Management. The branch is about developing and nourishing relationships along the lines of old-style banking. Mick believes customer relationships are a priority and this reflects in customer loyalty. He likes being able to go through a customer’s financial needs, especially home loans and provide suggestions that benefit the customer. Since 1962 he has lived, and currently lives in the hills area including seven years in Knoxfield. He is a keen supporter of basketball and conducts basketball clinics for children with disabilities on a monthly basis and until recently was involved in foster care. He is a Carlton Football Club member and follows Perth Wildcats and Boston Celtics.

Michelle is married with 2 teenage children and a dog. She has been living in the Knox Community for 34 years. Michelle has been actively involved with calisthenics for the past 25 years along with daughter.
She also loves watching her son play local footy. She has worked in the banking industry for about 15 years in total, with 3 ½ years at Bendigo Bank.

Debra lives in Ferntree Gully and has for the past eight years with her partner and cat. She loves dancing, gardening, golf and catching up with friends. Deb has worked in banking for three years, after careers in administrative roles and the hospitality industry. Deb has a bright personality, loves to sing and loves a chat.

Anna
Anna joined Bendigo Bank with 16 years experience in the banking sector at one of the big four and 10 years in finance in the hospitality sector. She is an avid scrapbooker and the number 1 sports fan and major sponsor for both her daughters who are both softball state players. The girls also have black belts in karate.

Julianne has joined our staff at Rowville recently. Her position is Customer Relationship Officer. She comes to us with 13 years’ experience with Bendigo Bank and worked previously in the banking industry for 19 years. She brings a wealth of experience with her. She enjoys customer contact and believes that branches provide opportunities to be involved in the local area. She enjoys reading, travelling and is an avid fan of AFL and supports St Kilda.

Tracey joined Rowville Community Bank® Branch when it opened in August 2004. Her present role is Customer Relationship Officer. She takes pride in being a member of our local branch where she enjoys welcoming new and present customers. She lives locally with her husband and three girls. She enjoys having breaks with her family on the Mornington Peninsula and down near the 90 Mile Beach area.

Sally is a married mother of three nearly grown children and her hobbies are reading, knitting, doing crossword puzzles and cross stitches and embroidery. Her family has been involved with Rowville Football club for many years with both her husband and son playing for them. She has worked with Bendigo Bank since our Rowville Branch opened and was previously working at various other jobs prior to this. Before children she worked at another financial institution.

Anthony has been with Bendigo Bank for more than five years. This is his first banking job and he has found it rather enlightening. He came to banking after spending around 12 years working with Telstra, so the time came where he needed a change. He's a mechanic by trade; his first job out of school was training to be a marine technician in the Navy. He enjoys many outdoor leisure activities such as fishing, camping, and is a keen 4WDer. He looks forward to seeing you at the Branch.

Jenny joined Bendigo Bank recently after many years at one of the big four banks. She’s a mum of two adult children and has lived in the Knox area for the past 20 years. She likes the way the branch supports the local community by giving back a share of its profits to local groups.
Jenny supports Collingwood and enjoys walking and family get-togethers.
