How do I enable the Quick Balances feature?

Quick Balances is only available in the Bendigo Bank app. There are two ways to enable Quick Balances:

  1. You may be presented with a welcome screen inviting you to enable quick balances. Follow the prompts to enable Quick Balances, or alternatively tap ‘skip for now’ to opt in at another time.
  2. If you choose to opt in another time, or have not seen the welcome screen, after you have logged on to e-banking, go into the main ’Settings’ menu and select ‘Enable Quick Balances’. Follow the prompts and select which accounts you’d like to be able to see Quick Balances for.

Once I’ve enabled the Quick Balances feature on my app, where will I see my account balances?

Next time you open the app, you’ll notice grey ‘dots’ on the top half of the screen; this indicates that there are account balances ready to display.  Swipe left to view your account balances. Account balances will display as per the account selection within Quick Balances Settings.

Can I enable Quick Balances on more than one device?

Yes. You will need to enable Quick Balances on each individual device; this feature is located within the main ‘Settings’ menu after you have logged on to e-banking.

How do I disable Quick Balances from my app?

Logon to e-banking, go to the main ‘Settings’ menu and select ‘Disable Quick Balances’.  If you have enabled Quick Balances on more than one device, you’ll need to disable the service on each individual device.

Is there a limit to how many accounts I can setup in Quick Balances?

You can link as many accounts as you like, no limit applies.

Can I change which accounts are linked to the Quick Balances feature?

Yes. after you have logged on to e-banking, go into the main ‘Settings’ menu (or the Account Settings cog) and select Quick Balances Settings to change the accounts on display.

Updating your Quick Balances Settings will automatically update the accounts balances displayed on the Bendigo Bank app login page for each device on which you have enabled Quick Balances.

Do I need to have a device passcode enabled on my device for Quick Balances to work?

Whilst not mandatory, it is advisable to have a global passcode set on your device. If you have Quick Balances enabled without a passcode set on your device, anyone who can access your device could potentially see your account balances using Quick Balances.

I don’t have a passcode to lock my device, does this mean that if I enable Quick Balances on my app, anyone who has access to my device can see my account balances?

Yes, your account balances will be  visible to anyone who has access to your device. For tips to keep your device secure, please refer to our Security Tips..

You can find our Security Tips in the Main Settings Menu within the Bendigo Bank App and Web e-banking.

If my device is lost or stolen, how can I disable the Quick Balances feature so that no one else can see my account balances?

Disabling Quick Balances on a specific device can only be done on that specific device via the Bendigo Bank app (or by removing the Bendigo Bank app completely from that device. As an alternative, you can deselect all accounts displayed within Quick Balance Settings. This will stop account balances from displaying on your device but will also remove it from any other devices on which you have enabled Quick Balances.

To update the accounts displayed, navigate to the Main Settings Menu or the Accounts 'Settings' Menu (cog icon) to locate Quick Balance Settings. Then deselect your accounts and select ‘save’. Whilst this won’t completely disable the feature from your app, it will remove all account balances from displaying on the login page.

I have located a new Settings Menu option called Quick Balances Settings in e-banking in my web browser. I can select accounts I want to display, but I can’t see the account balances on my login screen. Why is that?

Quick Balances settings are available within e-banking, regardless of whether you access it via the Bendigo Bank app or a web browser. The settings made in this section will only apply to devices on which you use the Bendigo Bank app and have opted-in to use the Quick Balances feature. will only allow you to view account balances from the App login screen.
