Forget fumbling through your wallet and handing over a card next time you’re in a store. With Android Pay, simply tap your phone on a shop’s contactless card reader to make a payment.

  • Setting up Android Pay

    1. Open Android Pay on your phone or download it from the Google Play Store.
    2. Add your Bendigo Bank credit or debit cards, by taking a photo of the card or typing in the card details.
    3. Verify your card details using Bendigo Bank’s Protect+Pay app.
    4. You are now ready to securely tap and pay using your Android phone!
  • How it works

Once you have added your Bendigo Bank card to Android Pay you can simply wake up your phone and tap on a shop’s contactless card reader to make a payment. There’s no need to unlock your phone or open an app.

For transactions under $100 you won’t need to enter your card Personal Identification Number (PIN).

The purchase amount will then be debited from the card you have loaded as the default card.

When you make a purchase, you’ll see a payment confirmation that shows you exactly where the transaction happened, along with the merchant’s name and number.

If you have a Bendigo Bank credit card with rewards you’ll continue earn points when using Android Pay.

  • Security

Android Pay doesn’t send your actual credit or debit card number with your payment. Instead we use a virtual account number to represent your account information - so your card details stay safe.

You will be prompted to unlock your phone once three transactions under $100 without a PIN have been performed.
