Redeeming Qantas Points

Points can be used in lots of ways. To redeem, simply transfer the points earned by your business to any individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

How do I start earning points?

You’ll need to provide your ABN, and be a Qantas Business Rewards member, for us to allocate the points you’ve earned through your Qantas Business Credit Card1. Once you’ve earned your Qantas Points, simply transfer them to any Qantas Frequent Flyer account~ to be used.

Already a Qantas Business Rewards member?

Excellent! If you haven't already done so, upon application of your Qantas Business Rewards Credit Card you would have provided us an ABN. The same ABN applies to your Qantas Business Rewards membership.

Things you should know

~ In order to transfer Qantas Points from a Qantas Business Rewards account to an individual’s Qantas Frequent Flyer account, the business account must have a balance of at least 3,000 Qantas Points. You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem Qantas Points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions. We recommend you consult your accountant or tax adviser to ensure you understand possible tax implications, for example fringe benefits tax (if applicable).

++ Classic Upgrade Rewards are available on Classic Flight Rewards in Economy and Premium Economy and eligible paid and confirmed Qantas domestic and international flights, with a QF flight number on your ticket and from time to time on codeshare flights operated by another carrier that have a Qantas (QF) flight number on your ticket. Classic Upgrade Rewards are subject to capacity controls and availability is limited, and some flights may not have any Classic Upgrade Rewards confirmed. Classic Upgrade Rewards are not available from all fare types. See tables for details.

+ Points Plus Pay - Flights are available on any flight with a Qantas (QF) or Jetstar (JQ) flight number or selected partner airlines when travelling on a Qantas fare and booking on for yourself or any eligible family member. The points required for a Points Plus Pay - Flight includes taxes, fees and carrier charges (except any local airport fees or charges collected at the time of check-in) are subject to change and are quoted at the time of booking. Qantas Points and Status Credits may not be earned on some fare types or on oneworld® alliance or airline partner flights. See the Airline Earning Tables for eligible flights and earning classes. Flights are not available for Classic Flight Rewards bookings or the Book Now Pay Later facility. Not all Points Plus Pay - Flights are presented through Flight Bookings and the points and money required for the different flights may differ, so it may be worth checking both Flight Bookings and Reward Bookings for your flights. 1 To earn Qantas Points with the Qantas Business Rewards Credit Card, a business must be a member of the Qantas Business Rewards program. Membership of the Qantas Business Rewards program is subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Business Rewards program, which can be found at 0.6 Qantas Points per dollar will be earned on eligible transactions , transferred daily to the Qantas Business Rewards Account and capped at 30,000 per statement period, or 360,000 per annum from the account opening date – see Bendigo Business Standard Terms for details. Ineligible transactions are BPAY transactions, balance transfers, cash advances, cash equivalent transactions, transactions for gambling or gaming purposes, any fee or charge, including any government charges or duties, interest and finance charges payable or paid on your credit card, transactions which are disputed, fraudulent or involve the abuse or unauthorised use of your credit card and payments and purchases which are refunded or reimbursed. Eligible government payments are amounts owing to the Australian Taxation Office, vehicle licensing and registration, fines issued by any government, agency, service or department, bail and bond payments, council rates or fees, court costs including maintenance and child support. For the avoidance of doubt, government payments do not include government charges.
