Heidelberg Community Pitch - Oh what a night!

Heidelberg Community Pitch - Oh what a night!
The Heidelberg and East Ivanhoe Community Bank branches joined forces with 11 local businesses to host the inaugural Heidelberg Community Pitch Night.
A total of $73,200 was distributed to 15 local community groups after they each gave a three-minute snapshot of their project or cause. The event was more than just an opportunity to contribute financial support, but also to building connections, collaborate to make our community a better place for everyone.
Projects included Araluen’s Chancez Café at Possum Hollow, the Banyule Toy Library’s Full Steam Ahead project to purchase sustainable and interactive educational toys, a Podiatry Material Aid Centre for Footscape, as well as Olympic Adult Education’s Alice House Home and Garden Care social enterprise.
We'd like to thank the many local businesses supported this project by contributing pitch dollars to distribute to community groups at the event: Miles Real Estate, Banyule City Council, Training Now, Ivanhoe Grammar School, East Ivanhoe Grocers, David Caple & Associates, the Rotary Club of Ivanhoe, SNAP Heidelberg, The Coote Family and the Heidelberg Golf Club.
