Young Trades Awards
Young Trades Awards
Nominations open Tuesday 26 January 2021
Nominations close Friday 26 February 2021
Community Bank Trentham & Districts and Cool Country Community Enterprise Limited invite you to get involved and nominate a young person excelling in their chosen trade.
The Young Trades Awards recognises young locals showing exceptional skills, commitment and community engagement. Whether they’re qualified or apprentices, trainees or diploma students, these awards show our appreciation for their hard work and acknowledges young tradespeople in our district.
Whilst this program focuses on our youth, it also acknowledges the companies who employ them. These companies teach and develop young people in expanding their skill sets, knowledge and gives them experience to go out in the world and build a career and life for themselves.
If you employ young workers learning their trade through training, please consider nominating them in the Young Trades Awards Program. If you’re a young, qualified tradesperson you can nominate yourself.
There are generous prizes in three categories:
- Apprentice or trainee – Employed and learning
- Qualified tradesperson – Employed
- Qualified Self-employed Tradesperson
