Making good things happen in Trentham

27 May 2020 |Community news

See the difference your banking makes

When you bank with Trentham Community Bank Branch, profits pour into the community. $200,000 so far.

Across Australia, Community Bank branches have invested $229 million to help their communities thrive.

A bank giving back sounds unusual. For us, it's business as usual.

We'd like to share our community stories showcasing local community groups that make this town great. We hope you are as proud as us of this community.

Want to know more? Talk to us today.

Here's how your banking has made Trentham an even nicer place to live.

Trentham Men's Shed

The Men's Shed is an incredible achievement in what is possible within a small community. It is an important asset that can improve the health of the Trentham community and it's people.

Trentham Spudfest

Spudfest has ran for 13 years and is a major tourist event that brings our community together to share in the bounty of this wonderful town. The festival celebrates our little pocket of the world, putting our potato-farming region on the map.

Trentham Football and Netball Club

Community is everything. Throughout the season, rain, hail or shine, the Trentham Football and Netball Club is the place to be. There's always a hive of activity with families and volunteers all banding together to support our youth and the love of the game.

Trentham Cosmopolitan Hotel

In the heart of our Trentham community, a place we all know and love is the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Watch the video below of Cosmopolitan Hotel's Rod Hughes sharing his story on how banking locally makes all the difference to the community.

The Path of the Horse

The Path of the Horse is more than a charity; it’s an institution where Horses help people to heal. Watch the video below and look at this fantastic story where Dean Mighell (Founder, Director and Practitioner) shares the importance of community banking and how the branches reach out, support and put more back into the community.

Trentham Neighbourhood Centre

TNC is a much-loved place for groups, gatherings and services. It’s a place where everyone is welcomed and it offers a number of activities and events that support this town and community.

Trentham Historical Society

Trentham Historical Society keeps the memories of this township and the surrounding districts alive from yesteryear. Maintaining the history and preserving information is very important for future generations.

Watch each of these community groups share their experience of working with our Community Bank.
