The residents of Hepburn House Aged Care Facility take their role as community citizens very seriously and are always looking for ways they can support communities in need.
Their latest effort is a winner and not only will it make you smile, it will also raising valuable funds for drought and bushfire affected communities.
When you think about a calendar from an aged care centre you might expect some lovely smiling faces of residents and staff captured going about their daily lives. With Hepburn House Aged Care Facility’s fundraising calendar you get the lovely smiling faces of residents, and so much more!
Without giving too much away, here’s a sneak peak at what you will find:
- 84 year old Peggy lying in a bed of rose petals (American Beauty).
- 98-year-old Dorothy as Marilyn Monroe (Seven Year Itch).
- 92-year-old Jim who makes a dashing James Bond.
And what’s a Hollywood movie calendar without Austin Powers, Risky Business, Grease and the Wizard of Oz?
Although we’re not going to share those images here – you’ll have to buy a calendar to see for yourself.
Calendars available at Daylesford & District Community Bank Branch for $20 each, with all proceeds going towards drought and bushfire communities.
