A place to call home

2 June 2020

Thanks to your donations and Rotary, the first of these caravans have been delivered to people who lost their homes in bushfires.

How many times have we seen Rotary Clubs from right across Australia come to the aid of people in need?

In 2020, here they are again – this time providing temporary shelter for people whose homes were destroyed in the summer bushfires.

The Rotary Club of Melbourne has responded to a call out for temporary accommodation. Refurbished caravans are now rolling out across the state for people in need. There are 14 caravans in this first round of deliveries. Now families will have a place to call home while they begin the recovery and rebuilding process.

Once again, Victorians are thankful for the support of those people who volunteer their time as Rotarians.
