If the arrival of the global pandemic was tough for us, imagine what it’s like for people affected by bushfires less than six months ago.
While the roads are now open, and the television crews have left, we’re still working hard with our partners and communities as they continue on their recovery journey.
So, what have we have been doing?
The Foundation make distributions by way of grant applications. These follow recommendations from advisory committee’s/panels. Organisations, endorsed as Item 1 Deductible Gift Recipients (DGR), receive these much needed funds.
More than $16 million in funding has been approved to the below Item 1 DGR Charity organisations for specific projects.

| Moogji Aboriginal Council East Gippsland Inc | Bushfire Bereavement Assistance |
We’re also working in three States (Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia) to establish advisory committees. These committees will assist in driving the distribution of funds.
Funds help community-driven recovery and rebuilding processes for the medium and longer term needs of fire-affected communities.
