Sponsorship requests

Thank you for your interest in a potential Bendigo Bank sponsorship.

Sponsorships are an important part of building our brand and our support for Australian communities.

Bendigo Bank's sponsorship resource is committed to projects in advance, and in partnership with our Community Bank network who drive positive impact from the grassroots up.

The main way we assist communities with local sponsorship is through our national branch network, with the establishment of long-term relationships and commitment from both partners. Most sponsorship queries should therefore be directed to a relevant Bendigo Bank branch; you can locate your nearest branch here.

Foundation, Bendigo Bank's charitable arm, helps Australian communities with grants, scholarships, and community-focused appeals.

Reviewing large state and/or national sponsorship requests.

We apply the same evaluation criteria to all proposals received. This is to establish whether the opportunity aligns with our strategic goals. For a proposal to be considered at the branch or corporate level it

  • Must genuinely feed into the prosperity of Australian communities
  • Must align with our values and strategic goals
  • Must have a fair value exchange
  • Must be something our customers and community care about
  • Must have a longer lead-time, a minimum 6-months out

Excluded sponsorship categories are activities that Bendigo Bank will not support:

  • Political or religious organisations (or entities supported by them)
  • Gambling, smoking, or drug use
  • Socially divisive issues or events

Or activities which:

  • Denigrate, exclude, or offend any part of a community
  • Encourage violence
  • Involve the use of weapons
  • Mistreat, exploit, or harm animals
  • Create environmental hazards
  • Present a danger to public health or safety
  • Take place solely outside of Australia

When submitting a request for sponsorship, to be considered, please ensure you provide the details below:

  • A one-page executive summary
  • The defined target audience for your event
  • A detailed outline of the project / activity plans including start and end dates and locations
  • Performance evaluation framework
  • Business opportunities
  • Confirmation of whether Bendigo Bank would be the only financial services partner
  • Cost of sponsorship

Proposals can be submitted at brandmailbox@bendigoadelaide.com.au

Reminder: If your enquiry relates to a local grassroots sponsorship, contact your nearest Bendigo Bank branch. Due to the volume of enquiries we get, we will not respond to proposals that do not meet the criteria and/or proposals that should be directed locally.
