Abi Cleland appointed as non-executive director

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited (ASX:BEN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Abi Cleland as a nonexecutive director, effective 30 April 2024.

Abi is a highly skilled and experienced director holding current appointments with Coles Limited (ASX:COL), Orora Limited (ASX:ORA) and Computershare Limited (ASX:CPU).

Abi has global expertise in strategy, digital, supply chain, marketing and operations with broad experience across a range of sectors including financial services, technology, retail and infrastructure.

Abi is passionate about businesses being customer led and digitally enhanced, using data to deliver better outcomes for customers and sustainable returns for investors.

Abi has also held senior roles with Amcor, Incitec Pivot, ANZ and Caltex. Additionally, Abi has held roles with several not-for-profits, start-ups, emerging and established businesses.

Abi holds a Master of Business (Melbourne), a Bachelor of Commerce (Monash) and a Bachelor of Arts (Monash).

Abi will seek election at the Annual General Meeting on 7 November 2024.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank chair, David Foster, welcomed Ms Cleland to the Board: “Abi’s strong customer focus, experience with digital distribution and growing businesses will enhance and support the Bank’s transformation journey”.
