Appeal launched for flood affected communities

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's philanthropic arm, Community Enterprise Foundation™ has launched the Queensland Flood Appeal.

In the past week heavy rains have caused extensive flooding across Queensland; with more communities expected to be affected in the coming days.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's Acting Queensland State Manager, Steve Simpson, said the bank was pleased to be able to launch the appeal to assist flood affected communities.

"Many communities have been shocked by the impact of the floods and the widespread damage that has occurred, not only to community facilities but also to people homes and businesses," Mr Simpson said.

"Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is proud to be able to assist the community by launching the appeal and is calling for public donations to help support those who have been affected by the floods."
