Bendigo Bank, Australia's fifth-largest retail bank, has scooped a number of industry and customer-ranked awards in 2015, reflecting the Bank's premium product offering, quality customer service and unique innovation.

Kicking off the year, Bendigo Bank was named Business Bank of the Year four years running in Roy Morgan Research's Customer Satisfaction Awards, with three out of four business customers saying they would recommend the Bank.

In an Australian first, Bendigo Bank's business banking relationship management app, miBanker, won the 2015 Victoria iAwards for Financial Services, an award by the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) honouring companies at the cutting edge of innovation.

And in matters beyond finance, the Bank maintains prime position among Australia's financial institutions on the 2015 Corporate Reputation Index, conducted by research consultancy firm AMR and the Reputation Institute. Climbing from thirteenth place in 2014, the Bank ranked seventh overall out of 60 companies, ahead of ING Direct (16), ANZ (31), Commonwealth Bank (33), NAB (41) and Westpac (52).

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's Managing Director, Mike Hirst, said these awards reflect a commitment to being Australia's most customer-connected bank.

"We're very pleased to have received such a great number of awards this year, which recognise our Bank's premium style of banking and a continued investment in digital innovations that respond to customer demand," Mr Hirst said.

"We constantly strive to improve our offering, seeking bigger and better ways of doing business and considering our impact on social and environmental outcomes, and we hope that effort continues to achieve consistently high customer satisfaction."

Bendigo Bank's 2015 performance was boosted by an exceptional product offering, which received multiple accolades this year for value, customer experience and personalised service:

"Our customers can continue to expect exceptional product offering and service from our experienced staff, and also our commitment to support the communities in which they live to thrive and prosper," Mr Hirst said.

Bendigo Bank aims to be Australia's most customer-connected bank, with more than 600 service outlets, including 311 locally owned Community Bank® branches that have collectively reinvested more than $148 million of their profits into local projects.
