Bendigo Bank opens 1000th ATM
Bendigo Bank has opened its 1000th ATM at the Coleraine Community Bank® Branch in Victoria’s west.
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Senior Manager Business Development, Nathan Turley, said the milestone highlights considerable growth in the bank’s ATM network.
“Bendigo Bank is working on further developing its ATM network. Through a proposed agreement with Suncorp Bank we hope to double our ATM numbers; giving our customers access to more than 2000 machines by the end of June,” Mr Turley said.
“Under the partnership customers will benefit from the collective strength of both networks.”
Bendigo Bank customers now have access to 530 customer service outlets, including 250 Community Bank® branches.
In addition, customers can also do their banking at almost 100 online and offline agencies or through the bank’s phone banking and internet banking facilities.
Coleraine Community Bank® Branch Chair, Coralie Coulson, said the new 24-hour ATM provided Coleraine residents with access to their money where and when they need it.
“Bendigo Bank is committed to providing better access to services for customers across Australia,” Ms Coulson said.
“This latest ATM is just another place you can access your money with Bendigo Bank.”
The proposed ATM sharing agreement is currently awaiting regulatory and legal approvals.
