Community and advice focus for new North Adelaide branch
Bendigo and Adelaide Bank today opened the doors of its new company-owned branch in North Adelaide, in the process starting the roll-out of an expanded customer network in South Australia.
South Australia and Northern Territory State Manager John Oliver said the new branch will bring to the busy O’Connell Street strip the community focused approach to banking for which the bank was well known.
“We want to get involved with local people and their community projects and O’Connell Street and its surrounding areas are the epicentre in North Adelaide for this activity,” Mr Oliver said.
“This branch will also meet our customers’ changing banking needs. Fewer transactions are being conducted at branches. Customers are seeking more advice.
“The outlay of the new North Adelaide branch, the built-in technology and the level of staff training will meet today’s banking needs.’’
The branch will open today but will be officially opened on 25 August.
North Adelaide Branch Manager Jacqui Clarke invites the community to come and see the new branch and talk to the staff.
“We want to work with the community to do great things in North Adelaide and I am sure with the support of the local community we will provide great benefits to all members of the community,” Ms Clarke said.
The North Adelaide branch has ATM facilities, business banking, financial planning and traditional banking services. It is located at Shop 11, North Adelaide Village, 81 O’Connell Street.
The branch will open Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 12noon.
