Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Alliance Bank® has partnered with Ultradata, Cuscal and TAS in a move that will strengthen the proposition of the unique banking model.

Under this agreement, Ultradata, Cuscal and TAS will provide the systems, payments solution and management services for all Alliance Bank® partners.

Carolyn Adams, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s Head of Alliance Bank said forming this strategic partnership would further deliver positive outcomes for current and future Alliance Bank® members.

“We’re very pleased to partner with these companies, who each have a proven reputation in their respective fields,” Ms Adams said.

“Creating synergy in systems and processes among Alliance Bank® partners improves operations, communications and employee engagement, and overall strengthens the proposition of the model.

“Partnering for shared success is key to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank’s strategy, and we’re confident that together we will deliver an efficient operating model and an even greater range of benefits to our current and future Alliance Bank partners.”

Peter Henshaw, Ultradata’s Chief Executive Officer said he was thrilled to be able to deliver solutions that provide a digital and core banking platform to support and develop the Alliance Bank® model’s future growth.

“It’s been a pleasure to work with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank throughout this process and we look forward to our relationship continuing well into the future,” he said.

Shane Baker, TAS Chief Executive Offer said: “TAS are delighted to be involved in this unique initiative designed to deliver streamlined operations for customers across the Alliance Bank enterprise.”

“This strategic partnership will further enhance TAS’ profile as a leader in delivering excellent service to the banking sector. We look forward to collaborating with the Alliance Bank and bringing their exciting all-in-one platform to the market,” he said.

Colin Sultana, Cuscal’s Acting General Manager, said he was looking forward to the partnership with Alliance Bank®.

“As an independent provider of payment solutions, we’re thrilled to provide a range of services to Alliance Bank and its partners.’’

‘’As part of our agreement with Alliance Bank we’ll be delivering innovative switching, settlement, cards and payments services.”

Established in 2014, Bendigo and Adelaide Bank and an initial alliance of four mutuals – AWA, BDCU, Circle and Service One – created the Alliance Bank® model.

Alliance Partners provide infrastructure and staff to support customer-facing sales, servicing and operations, while Bendigo and Adelaide Bank is responsible for product, policy, systems, technology services and software supporting the banking business.

The Alliance Bank® mission is to develop a strong and valued social enterprise brand and reputation within their marketplace and for their members.

Since transfer of business to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank on 1 March 2015, the four foundation Alliance Partners have made important social impact investments and formed significant partnerships within their communities.

The Alliance Bank® full operating model is due for delivery in March 2017.
