Vicki Carter appointed as non-executive director

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank has appointed Vicki Carter as a non-executive director.

Vicki is currently Executive Director Strategy and Business Services, Telstra. She is an experienced executive and a member of Chief Executive Women. Her career spans over 30 years, primarily in financial services and more recently in technology. This included executive responsibility for the retail branch network at NAB and earlier, NAB support functions including sales development, human resources, capital management and productivity, customer complaints and change management. Vicki also held senior management roles in financial planning for Business and Agri Banking and sales and distribution for MLC, ING and Prudential Assurance.

The Bank’s chairman, Robert Johanson welcomed Ms Carter to the board: “Vicki has deep experience in operating businesses in banking, as well as strategic experience in telecommunications and disruptive technologies. This will be valuable as we work towards our vision to be Australia’s bank of choice.”
