Bendigo Bank will become the official banking partner of the SANFL and SANFLW for the 2026 and 2027 seasons, providing financial support to the league as it embarks on a huge year of footy.
The partnership also includes the naming rights partner for SANFL’s Volunteer of the Year Award, highlighting contributions from people who have provided notable voluntary service to community football in South Australia.
General Manager of Business Banking, Andrew Eastwood said partnering with a South Australian institution that celebrates grassroots sport and dedicated volunteers was a natural fit for Bendigo Bank.
"For over 160 years, Bendigo Bank has been committed to supporting the communities in which we live and work,” Mr Eastwood said.
“Partnering with the SANFL, an institution that is woven into the fabric of South Australian life, is a natural fit for us. Football clubs are vital community hubs, and we are excited to partner with the SANFL to help them continue to grow and to support the dedicated volunteers that make it all happen,” Mr Eastwood said.
SANFL Chief Executive Officer Darren Chandler said the SANFL was thrilled to expand the partnership with Bendigo Bank and continue highlighting the valuable contribution of volunteers in community football.
“Bendigo Bank has been by our side for a number of years and to now have them support the Bendigo Bank SANFL Volunteer of the Year Award is a tremendous show of support for community footy in our State,” Mr Chandler said.
“The partnership also represents a shared commitment to making a positive impact to local communities through footy.”
