Bendigo Bank is pleased to announce its sponsorship of Bendigo Spirit, reigning champions of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) team.

Bendigo Bank’s Chief Marketing Officer Sarah Bateson said the partnership continued the Bank’s longstanding support for women’s sport across Australia.

“We’re excited about this partnership and ready to cheer on Bendigo Spirit. We’re proud to support such a dedicated and inspirational group of women who are succeeding at the highest level,” Ms Bateson said.

Bendigo Spirit won the WNBL 24/25 season after defeating Townsville Fire 2-0 in the Grand Final series held in March 2025. The Spirit’s home games are played at Red Energy Arena in West Bendigo.

“We’re incredibly proud to have Bendigo Bank on board. There’s a natural synergy between our organisations, who are both deeply rooted in Bendigo and committed to making a positive impact in the community. We’re excited about what we can achieve together this season,” Mr Jackson said.
