Our Board

Chair:
John Colin Rose (Colin)
Occupation: Retired
Background Information: Colin visited Caloundra over a period spanning 40 years before moving here 8 years ago. He served in the RAAF for 22 years and spent a further 14 years vegetable growing in Victoria. For 10 years he was Operations Manager for a large flower/ bulb farming business. Colin and his wife Jennifer retired to Caloundra in November 2004. Colin has been actively involved with the board since the company's inception in November 2006. Prior to this Colin was a member of the steering committee for over 18 months, promoting the concept of a Community Bank® to Caloundra residents. Colin has been the company's treasurer for the last seven years and has made a significant contribution to the Board as a member of the Governance and Sponsorship Committees as well as the Executive.
Colin accepted the role of Chairman early in 2014 and looks forward to our company's bright future.

Treasurer:
Bruce Eldridge
Bruce has held executive roles in commercial (Financial Director) and Not For Profit (CFO) organisations. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Team at STEPS Group Australia (since 2012) and is a director and treasurer of Caloundra Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank.
Bruce is driven by creating efficiency through implementation and improvement of systems and enjoys the challenges of strategic planning to manage organisational growth. Bruce holds a CPA (2015); Bachelor of Commerce (1987), University of Natal, Durban, South Africa and a Diploma in Management (2013), Steps Education and Training, Caloundra. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Hendrik Reinking (Henk)
Occupation: Retired
Background Information: Henk is a retired businessman who is keen to bring his knowledge and skills to the Board. He has extensive experience in business and property development. Henk involves himself in the community through Pastoral Care at the Caloundra and Pelican Water Golf Clubs and as an active member of the Powerboat Club Country Band. He believes that he can make a positive contribution to the Board and looks forward to helping Caloundra Community Bank® branch  continue to grow and have a lasting impact in the community. Henk is the current chair of the Marketing & Sponsorship Committee.

Stephen Ramsdale
Occupation: Retired
Background Information: Stephen was appointed to the Board in November 2010. He is a local business owner, who has worked extensively in the field of Science for various government departments (CSIRO, Dept. of Conservation, Government Chemical Laboratories) as well as teaching at secondary and tertiary levels. }
Currently Stephen runs a Karate School and has studied fitness and rehabilitation. He has been an active board member, bringing highly developed problem solving and analysis skills to the agenda items. Stephen is an active member of the Marketing & Sponsorship Committee as well as the Human Resources Committee.

Donna Savill
Donna served on the Council of Churches of Christ in Queensland for two years prior to becoming a staff member. Donna’s current role with the Churches of Christ includes networking with key stakeholders and understanding the needs of those they represent in order to look for collaborative solutions.
She also recently joined the board of directors of Caloundra Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank. Donna was previously a bookkeeper for 13 years with experience across corporate and not-for profit sectors, including the day to day running of a business, reconciliations, BAS, payroll, grant applications and reporting. She also volunteers her time giving to Rosie’s Mission, the Red Shield Appeal and the Women’s Lifestyle Expo.

Amanda Zinn
Amanda is an experienced Executive Assistant working at senior management and board level and has recently joined the board of directors for Caloundra Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank. Amanda works for the Sunshine Coast Council as manager’s assistant to the Manager Community Response and has been in the role since 2007. Prior to this position, she has worked across numerous Council departments with former employment with Logan City Council, C&K Association and Mitre 10 in executive roles. Given her depth of experience, Amanda’s strengths include streamlining processes to enable greater administrative efficiencies. Amanda has been on the Committee of the Caloundra Chorale and Theatre Company for the past four years and is also secretary of the Caloundra State High School P&C Association.

Robert Campbell
Rob is currently manager of Australia and New Zealand for Sumitomo Corporation subsidiary Edgen Murray. He has previously worked in engineering, business development, project management and other management roles for Australian corporates such as Wormald, Tubemakers, BHP and Hills Industries. He has led teams in the delivery of engineered products to major Australian and New Zealand oil and gas, mining and infrastructure projects with all business requiring strict contractual compliance and high level technical specifications. His other skills include formal training in risk management practices, safety management systems, quality management systems and quality system audit. In addition to his currently role on the board of directors with Caloundra Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank, Rob is currently treasurer of the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club and holds several positions across all levels of Surf Life Saving Queensland. Rob has received several awards in acknowledgement of his service over the years to Surf Life Saving Queensland.

John Hall
John is an experienced company director, with over 30 years experience with listed public companies, unlisted public companies, government business enterprises, government public authorities and private businesses.  The diverse entities involved include sand mining, tourism and events, superannuation, investment and funds management and debt raising and management. John has held a variety of board related roles including chairman, deputy chairman, company secretary and Audit and Risk Committee Chairman. He is a Fellow of the Australian lnstitute of Company Directors (AICD) and has a Company Director's Diploma from the AICD.
John is active in community affairs. He is currently on the boards of Caloundra Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank and Visit Sunshine Coast, the regional tourism organisation for the Sunshine Coast.  He is also an independent member of the Sunshine Coast Grammar School Council and a member of the Management Committee of the Pelican Waters Probus club.
John holds degrees in Economics and Commerce and has a Masters of Business Administration.  He has extensive management experience in both the public and private sectors, including 25 years at chief executive level. He specialises in corporate governance, strategic planning, finance and economics.

Bill Eykman
William has extensive experience in property, facilities management, project management, real estate, finance, general business and change management at senior levels in Australia and overseas for major international corporations and government including the Department of Treasury and Finance, Port of Melbourne, Skilled Group, Sydney Water Corporation, EDS and Optus Communications. Amongst William’s many strengths are reviewing the operations, composition and charter of a business and its team, restructuring it to significantly improve efficiency, closer stakeholder interaction, greater strategic focus, increased revenue and cost savings. He has tertiary qualifications in Real Estate, Valuation (commercial, industrial and residential) and Auctioneering and has only recently relinquished his licenses. He is also a qualified project manager and holds a Masters in Corporate Real Estate (Corenet). William is currently on the board of directors for Caloundra Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank and holds Association Membership in the Fellow Australian Property Institute.
