Peter Topen
Occupation: Retired
Peter has over thirty years corporate experience having held senior management positions in operational, sales and marketing roles in Rio Tinto both in Australia and overseas. He has studied strategic leadership at the London Business School and was previously a director of Rio Tinto Diamonds NV in Antwerp Belgium. He is currently part of the management committee of Cardwell and District Community Futures Forum and also serves on the committee of the Cardwell Golf Club.

Jennifer McCallan
Occupation: Retired
Jennifer has a bachelor degree in economics. Held positions in the public, legal, commercial, IT, newspaper and higher education sectors including administrative officer in the Economics Faculty of the University of Sydney, personnel consultant, marketing/research consultant, officer manager and legal secretary.

Lauran Baillie
Occupation: Administration officer
Extensive experience in administrative and secretarial skills with previous banking background, currently employed by Cassowary Coast Regional Council as an administrative officer. Director of Aged Care Inc and Great Green Way Electrical.

Gail Vivian Anderson
Occupation: Senior Project Administrator - Construction
Qualifications, experience and expertise: Gail is a recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and is a qualified Mediator registered with the Resolution Institute. She also holds a Diploma of Teaching. Her career includes extensive Administration, Training, Management and Executive Assistant experience in the Construction Industry, where she is currently employed full time. Gail has been a voluntary committee member and enthusiastic participant in several sporting clubs in both Victoria and Queensland for the majority of her adult life. Gail is currently a non-executive member of Cardwell Care Incorporated and is passionate about her local community.

Tracy Moore
Tracy is a long term Cardwell local resident recently returned permanently to town after ten years based in Brisbane for work.  Her experience lies in accounting and hospitality having held positions in corporate, accounting and not-for-profit businesses.  Her passions include family and community.

Thea Ormond
Thea was born and raised in Cardwell.  At present she is employed by the Cassowary Coast Regional Council as the Tourism Officer.  Over the years Thea has been involved with many community groups including Cardwell Crocs Swim Club, Axemen Football Team, Cardwell State School P&C and the Tully Junior Soccer Team. More recently Thea has been the coordinator for a number of community events including the C150 in 2014 (Cardwell's 150th anniversary) and the annual Cardwell Volunteers Week celebrations.  She is also the coordinator of the Cardwell Jetty Markets and manager of the Cardwell UFO Festival.

Heath Sampson
Heath is a qualified and practicing pharmacist for the local community of Cardwell and surrounding areas.  He has a Bachelor of Science (University of Southern Queensland), a Bachelor of Pharmacy (James Cook University) and is currently studying a Masters of Business Administration (Australian Institute of Business).  Heath has worked extensively in retail and customer service, as well as being a locum relief pharmacist for many pharmacies in North Queensland prior to settling in Cardwell. He is currently the president of Cardwell Care Incorporated and a proud member of the Cardwell Golf Club.
