Yes, it’s time to feel good about who you bank with.
Each year, Caulfield Park Bendigo Bank receives and evaluates grants applications from charities and not-for-profit organisations seeking assistance for initiatives which contribute to improving quality of life, and to address important social issues and enhancing the community.
The Bank’s approach to grantmaking is reflected in the following funding principles:
*Community Engagement support projects, programs and organisations that encourage community engagement.
*Engage beyond Grants leverage our grantmaking, when appropriate, with other tools.
*Transparency and Accountability work transparently and responsibly
*Sustainability of the activity following the conclusion of the grant will be taken into consideration when assessing grants.
At Caulfield Park Community Bank® branch we understand the importance for charitable organisations to be innovative so they can effectively address the issues and enhance the local Caulfield community of today and anticipate those of tomorrow. Through proactive granting and Sponsoring of events, we enable charitable organizations working within one of key giving areas to apply for our grants.
Signature Grants. These respond to specific issues of particular interest or concern to the Bank and Caulfield community.
Support organisational capacity building, and acknowledges the importance of smaller, grass-roots charitable organisations, supporting them to do what they do.
Opportunity Grants are available to organisations working in one of the 5 key Impact Areas:
*Education and Employment
*Environment and Sustainability
*Sports and Social inclusion
*Culture and Lifestyle
Opportunity grants have a specific focus on two age groups: Young Adults (18-28 years) and (28-40)
Impact Grants encourages organisations to be innovative, creative and address needs in the community.
Impact Grant applicants must demonstrate in their application how their project links to at least two of the following categories:
*Strengthening infrastructure to support community participation (Fixed capital equipment and items)
*Encouraging connected communities (digital and social websites, online community hubs, community newsletters, publications and documentaries)
*Promoting Healthy Lifestyles (education programs, active ageing, local community events and festivals
*Building Resilient Communities (training workshops, community forums, volunteer development)
Please note that funding will not be provided for ongoing operational costs, IT/website upgrades or travel expenses. We're looking for programs, events and capital works that will make a positive difference to our community. Your community organisation must have an account with our branch to receive sponsorship funds.
Caulfield Park Community Bank® branch has contributed approximately $1,350,000 to our local community since the branch was established.
