Our Branch

After much work by a steering committee of local volunteers and significant community consultation, our branch opened at North Epping on 1 December 2003. The aims of establishing the branch were to provide banking services in the local area and to generate an income stream to support the local community.

Over the next 10 years the business grew steadily to over 2,000 customers both from North Epping and surrounding suburbs. The support of those customers has enabled us to distribute over $630,000 in financial support to worthwhile community groups and initiatives in our first 10 years. Over 30 local groups including schools, sports clubs, senior and youth services, business support groups, cultural groups and more have benefited from the financial support provided by the Community Bank® Branch.

After 10 years at North Epping our volunteer Board of Directors took up an opportunity to move the branch to its current high profile site in Epping business district where we are the only bank providing branch services on the eastern side of the railway.

The branch opened at the corner of Oxford and Pembroke Streets on 13 May 2014 and the move has proven to be popular with both our established and new customers. The new site will enable our business to prosper and return even more financial support to our local community.

"Supporting the growth and strength of our community using profits from high quality banking services."
