The Sunbury Branch, located at 22 Brook Street, opened its doors to the community in September 2006. Before then, the community banked with the Bendigo Bank through an agency located in town.
Unlike a Community Bank, our branch is owned by the company, but we do have a point of difference. When you choose to be a Sunbury branch customer, you not only make a decision that benefits you, you also make one that benefits your community and Sunbury's Helping Hand Enterprise.
That's because with every savings or investment account, every home or personal loan, and every product or service we offer, part of our profits go back into our communities to support local projects, groups and organisations through Sunbury's Helping Hand Enterprise.
It's not a new thing; it's simply who we are and what we believe in.
And it's a simple equation. We think that Bendigo Bank can only be successful if our customers and our communities are successful first.
It means that as a customer you not only benefit from a great range of competitive products and the friendly service we're all so well known for, you also get a sense of satisfaction knowing your banking is contributing to your community.
Sunbury Connected Communities
Sunbury Connected Communities' motivation is to help the community of Sunbury generate long-term prosperity.
Through this program Sunbury branch, in collaboration with Sunbury Connected Communities, will engage with residents, businesses, community groups, schools, sporting teams, old and young to fund projects that make our community bigger and better.
Your contribution is important to the overall success of Sunbury Connected Communities. You can get involved by doing something as simple as your day-to-day banking with us. This helps generate money for our community at no additional cost to you. The more business you do with us, the more money is available to reinvest into our community.
Call into our branch and talk to the staff about your banking needs – we’ve got something to suit everyone.
Then spread the message to your family, friends and neighbours today so that together we can all support the ongoing prosperity of our community.
Our depositors are protected under the Australian Government’s Financial Claims Scheme (FCS) which provides protection and quick access to deposits made with a bank, building society or credit union in the unlikely event that one of these institutions fails. Find out more here.
