Faster, simpler payments are available in Bendigo e-banking.
You can register your PayID and make faster payments to a BSB and account number or a PayID.
Forget BSB and account numbers
Instead, you can register a PayID, such as your mobile number or email address, to your nominated account to receive payments.
A PayID does the same job as a BSB and account number, it’s just easier to remember. But if a BSB and account number is all you have, that’s fine. Your payment will still be made.
Business customers can also register an ABN as a PayID in person or on the phone.

Faster payments
- Faster payments refer to all payments made on the New Payments Platform including Osko, a real-time payments service from BPAY, designed to safely and securely move money faster, 24/7.
- Fast Payments & Osko can be made via the Pay Anyone service in your Bendigo e-banking and the Bendigo Bank app.
- Sending faster payments: All new and existing Pay Anyone customers will have the ability to send faster payments to a PayID or via BSB and Account Number.
- Receiving faster payments: If you have e-banking, you will automatically receive faster payments via your BSB and account number or a PayID, if you have registered one.
Osko, Fast Payments and PayID

Each Financial Institution has its own timeline for enabling payments via the New Payments Platform, Osko and PayID services.
Bendigo Bank is excited to have been part of the New Payments Platform from the very first day it launched. It provides faster payments and PayID to our customers. However, the person you are paying or receiving a payment from, may not have an account with a Bank that is connected to the New Payments Platform. They may be unable to send or receive faster payments.
- Check this with the person you are trying to pay – they should know if they are able to receive Fast Payments.
- The PayID verification step will return the PayID Name providing confidence that the funds are being sent to the desired account.
- Remember, you can make Osko & Fast Payments the usual way via BSB and account number.
- Visit the NPPA website to see which financial institutions are offering Fast Payments and PayID services.
- Visit the Osko website to see which financial institution are offering Osko payments.
