We are committed to supporting local communities

Yes, it’s time to feel good about who you bank with.

Our Community Bank® branches give up to 80% of profits back to the community. We aim to develop long-term prosperity by supporting programs that help empower local individuals and groups within the local community.

Here's how we're making great things happen in Tugun...

Little Lending Libraries

In partnership with Somerset Storyfest on the road, Tugun Community Bank® Branch provided 4 Little Lending Libraries to encourage a passion for reading and a love of books. The Little Lending Library is based on the “Take a Book, Leave a Book” concept where both adults and children can take a book to enjoy and then return it upon taking another a book. The libraries are located at Fight 4 Youth, Currumbin RSL, Southern Beaches Community Garden, Currumbin Valley State School and Tugun Community Bank® Branch.

Green Heroes

Young innovators who are passionate about saving the environment are getting busy with either learning about environmental initiatives or designing their very own product or campaign to help preserve Australian native flora and fauna. A cash injection which is proudly provided by Tugun Community Bank® Branch, will help encourage our future generations to protect our environment. Billy, a 6 year old student, has created his own conceptual design for a plastic scoop to collect microplastics from the ocean’s surface. The sponsorship is also providing the opportunity to educate pre-school children on environmental initiatives such as bee hives to produce honey and tree hollow homes to protect our wildlife.
