Bendigo Bank crowned most trusted again

1 September 2022 |Announcements

Bendigo Bank has retained the title of the most trusted bank in Australia as it continues to build on its reputation as the country’s better big bank.

The list of Australia's most trusted brands for the latest quarter to June 2022 was announced today by research house Roy Morgan.

In addition to being the most trusted bank in the country, Bendigo Bank was named as one of the most trusted brands in Australia with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 24.5. Bendigo Bank’s NPS is 26.3 points higher than the average of the Australian banking sector.

Marnie Baker

Marnie Baker, CEO and Managing Director of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, said it was humbling to yet again be voted the most trusted bank in the country.

“Our vision is to be Australia's bank of choice and we believe our success is driven by our purpose – to feed into the prosperity of our customers and communities, not off them,” Ms Baker said.

“It’s this purpose and the way our employees put our customers at the centre of everything they do that sets us apart from other financial institutions.”

The findings were contained in Roy Morgan’s latest quarterly update which allows consumers to describe in their own words why they trust or distrust a brand, using data and insights from more than 60,000 Australians.

“We are a bank with heart and heritage, and we are proud that more than 2.2 million Australians are choosing to bank with us, an increase of 7.3 percent in the last financial year.

“Our range of banking products, unique focus on the community, digital capabilities and friendly customer service are just some of the reasons the Bank continues to perform well in a highly competitive marketplace,” Ms Baker said.
