Managing your insurance policy

Remember to review your policy regularly. It helps to do a few things at renewal time that could help reduce costs and manage your insurance policy.

Sum insured

As replacement and rebuild costs rise, your sum insured should rise too. To calculate an estimated replacement value, visit our calculator page.

Payment frequency

There's no extra charge if you pay fortnightly, monthly or quarterly. Adjusting your payment frequency to suit you could make it easier to manage your finances.

Excess

If you can afford to pay a higher excess when making a claim, increasing your excess may lower the premium you pay.
