Aimee Austin (MHRM, BSc)
Since moving to Alice Springs Aimee has been an active community member engaging with a number of local initiatives. Appointed Chair late 2015, Aimee brings to the board significant expertise in human resource management, governance and risk management. Aimee’s experience has seen her provide high level support and strategic advice to organisations in both the private and public sectors, including government and not for profit.
As an experienced Human Resources Practitioner, Aimee supports the need for greater diversity and believes more HR professionals should sit on Boards as they recognise the importance of establishing and sustaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct. Aimee is committed to building the future capacity of personnel by creating effective business practices and by ensuring that the “soft” side of business remains a primary objective of the Board.

Joy Taylor
Joy has called Alice Springs home since moving here in 2004. She was born in the UK, and has lived in Australia in 1988. Joy is a Director of Alice Springs based business Centred In Choice Pty Ltd, which provides management support, business development, training and counselling services to businesses, not for profits and individuals in Central Australia and beyond. Joy has experience in business services, vocational education and training, community development and community media, and has been a board member of local and national organisations most recently with Women in Adult and Vocational Education (WAVE) and the Australian Music Grants Advisory Committee for the Community Broadcasting Foundation. Joy’s interests include singing, yoga, community radio and bush walking.

Neily O’Connell
Neily has been involved as a Director of Alice Springs Community Bank® since November 2013 expanding her skills into the Company Secretary role in November 2014. Neily is studying an Advanced Diploma of Business after completing a Cert IV in Training and Assessment in 2015. In 2017, Neily was honored to receive a Northern Territory Young Achiever Award for Regional and Rural Initiative. Romeo Mutsago (CA, CPA, FCCA)
Romeo is a qualified chartered & professional accountant, certified fraud examiner and highly experienced audit & corporate finance professional. Romeo has spent fifteen years’ gaining progressive exposure in assurance services, corporate finance advisory, financial reporting, risk management, treasury management, fraud examination & investigations with his personal passions reflecting this as well as lecturing. His impressive list of qualifications includes: Bachelor of Accounting Honours (Africa University, Zimbabwe), Honours Bachelor of Accounting Sciences (University of South Africa) and an MBA Financial Services major (University of Zimbabwe). On top of all that, he is currently completing studies for a doctorate with the University of Liverpool, UK, researching on business integrity.

Roger Ahwah
Roger is a long time resident of Alice Springs and thoroughly enjoys life in the Outback. He is a very active member of the community and is involved in many Rotary projects focused on helping others in need locally, nationally and internationally. Roger enjoys golf, tennis, squash and travel.

Ruth Elvin
Ruth Elvin moved to Alice Springs in 2005 from Sydney and places further east and south, including Chicago, Boston and Canberra. Ruth works as a senior research and programs manager with Aboriginal and desert knowledge organisations, using her background in law, politics and communications to work with complex facets of remote social and economic development. She is also an enthusiastic swimmer and bushwalker, and has been known to canoe in the desert when the rivers flow. Ruth has also been heavily involved in community arts, including presiding over the Alice Springs Art Foundation for nearly a decade, which gave her a fine-grained appreciation of the importance and challenges of community organisations and businesses in Alice Springs.

Jocelyn Davies
Jocelyn Davies has lived in Alice Springs since 2004 and has lived in a few different rural towns in South Australia and NSW, in Canberra and Sydney. Alice Springs is Jocelyn's favourite of all these places because of the combination of the landscape, people, big skies and creative spirit. Jocelyn is a geographer who works as a research scientist at CSIRO. She has business experience through research management and previous self-employed consultancy work. Jocelyn is a keen bushwalker and gardener, travels a lot for work and fun, and is involved with the Alice Springs community through the environment, arts and our Community Bank®.

Nicole Walsh
