Happy International Women's Day

The Zonta Club of Caloundra City International was all a buzz hosting the 2018 International Women's Day breakfast.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Here at the Caloundra Community Bank® branch we were honoured to be invited to such an inspiring event.

Branch manager, Pip Fawcett, Caroline Campbell (Marketing) and Jess Simpson (Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Summer Surf Girl) joined 250 guests at the event. We were treated to a choice of charred corn bread with bacon, eggs and sweet potato rosti or zucchini and sweet corn fritters with goats cherie, grilled roma tomato and coriander pesto.

Our branch team invited students from Caloundra State High to join us at this motivational morning. A highlight was listening to Guest Speaker Roz White from IGA tell her story,

It was great to share the table with these lovely young girls, all of whom were equally impressed by the morning and the message that we need to stand up and #pressforchange.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and for making the morning a huge success.
