Our Board

Chair:
Lily Reinert
Occupation: Office Manager
Lily was born and educated in Geelong and worked at Geelong Hospital as a Registered Nurse. During this time Lily was involved in clinical teaching at Barwon Health and Deakin University‚ focusing on returning Registered Nurses to the work force. Lily has lived in Leopold all her married life and has two children whom are remained involved in sports and local business in Leopold. For more than thirty years, she has been an active member on numerous Leopold community groups and committees. She supports her husband in running their business and is actively involved in Occupational health and safety.

Lily has had the opportunity to join the steering committee for the Leopold Community Bank® branch more than ten years ago and has continued an active role on the board since Leopold Community Enterprises was formed holding the positions of director, Company Secretary for 7 years and now the position of Chairperson.

Treasurer / Vice Chairman:
Paul Madden
Occupation: Certified Practicing Accountant
Paul was born in Geelong and raised in Newtown. He attended Newtown Primary School‚ Fyans Park Primary School‚ Belmont High School and the Gordon Institute of Technology. Paul lived in Leopold for 30 years with his wife and four sons. Presently he resides in Moolap with his wife and one son. He has been a self-employed Public Accountant, CPA, for 32 years trading as Advance Business Centres and Geelong Tax Services in Moorabool Street Geelong and has been involved with a variety of small businesses. Paul has been Past President of Leopold Scout Group‚ supported his sons attending the local AusKick‚ Little League and Leopold Football Club. His interests include cycling‚ sea kayaking‚ collecting money boxes‚ Australian stamps and antique family bibles.

Secretary:
Bronwyn Shearer
Occupation: Executive Officer and Local business owner
Bronwyn has been a local of Leopold for over 25 years and is married with 2 adult children. Together with her husband have a local contracting business.  Bronwyn’s employment background has been in social work, particularly in the fields of employment and training. For the past 10 years she has been working with Boards in the areas of strategic planning, governance practices and board evaluations. She is passionate about travelling and the Geelong Football Club. Bronwyn joined the board of Leopold Community Enterprises in July 2015 and uses her skills to work with the Board to strengthen its’ governance practices.

Bob Reinert
Occupation: Local business owner
Bob Reinert has been involved in the construction industry for over 30 years. Bob owns and manages a scaffold and working at heights company for the past 20 years.  Bob is a Registered Domestic and Commercial Builder.  Married to Lily, he has raised his children in the Leopold community and been involved with a wide range of aspects of the Leopold Community.  Bob has had the opportunity to join the steering committee for the Leopold Community Bank® branch more than ten years ago and has continued an active role on the board since Leopold Community Enterprises was formed.

John Leach
Occupation: Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) Retired
John was born in Geelong and educated at St Mary's Tech and Gordon Institute of Technology with a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from, Warrnambool Institute of Advanced Education. John has lived in Leopold with his wife, Joan, for 40 years and they have two adult children. He has 40 years’ experience in various accounting roles in industry and local government. John has also been involved in local sporting clubs.

Gabrielle Jennings
Occupation: Local Business Owner
Gabrielle was raised in Ocean Grove and has lived and traveled throughout Victoria, the Northern Territory and Cape York Peninsula working in international education, community programs, disability services and indigenous employment. She now resides in Leopold with her husband Andy and two young sons, managing their family plumbing business. Gabrielle has an interest in travel, exploring new places, cultures and cuisine. She looks forward to supporting a healthy, connected and culturally diverse community in Leopold.

Dennis More
Occupation: Property Developer
Dennis brings a wealth of business experience to the Board.  Starting his working life as an electrician, Dennis has been self-employed in various business across Geelong over the past 40 years.  These have included electrical contracting, lighting retail, trenching contracting, and most recently as a commercial and industrial property developer.  He is a director of More Holdings P/L, Leopold Lakes P/L and Leopold Property Holdings P/L. He is an active member of many community organisations including the donation of land for use for the Leopold Angling and Aquatic Club.  Dennis was keen to have the opportunity to join the Board of the Leopold Community Bank® branch as a director in September 2018 and is now involved in the Marketing, Sponsorship and Business Development Committee.

Todd Hubers
Occupation: Software Developer
Todd is a community minded professional, who brings lean-startup, web, software, and marketing experience to the board. He has previously served as director of Technology Geelong (ICT Geelong), ran Australia's first regional coworking space, StartupCloud, and currently Geelong Silicon Beach, a casual lean startup meetup group. He first started software coding at age 7, graduated from Deakin University with Bachelor of Business Information Technology in 2006 with Honours, and has been running a software consultancy to this date. In 2018, Todd started his first high scale startup "Dull". Todd moved to Leopold in 2017 with his wife and 2-year-old son. Todd took the opportunity to join the Board of the Leopold Community Bank® branch as director in April 2019 and looks forward to further community development for his family and residents of Leopold.

Craig comes to Leopold Community Bank® branch with 30 years experience in banking. The last 10 years was spent at Portarlington/Drysdale Community Bank® Branch. He has lived on the Bellarine Peninsula for nearly 20 years and enjoys fishing, sports and gardening.

I have been with the bank just under 4 year's. Within this time I have worked in all the branches in the Geelong network covering various roles whilst being on the Relief Team. I've just recently just moved back to Leopold where I've built a new home with my partner. I have grown up in Leopold and look forward to being involved in the local community and growing the business to the best of my ability.

I have over 26 years in banking and have worked for Bendigo Bank for over 18 years, working in many branches within Geelong in various roles. On the weekends I teach mosaics.

Mua has been with the bank 18 months after arriving from New Zealand. He started at Indooroopilly branch. He looks forward to being involved in the local community.

Robyn has lived in Leopold for 30 years and is a mother of 5 beautiful children. She has been employed by the Leopold Community Bank® branch since it first opened. Robyn enjoys getting away with her husband Anthony and their children in their caravan.


Christina
Christina is covering Camilla while she is on maternity leave. She is looking forward to her time at the Leopold Community Bank®, branch as it is nice to be back in a Community Bank® branch after moving around the Bank branches since leaving Portarlington about 10 years ago. Christina is here to assist you with any banking enquiry you may have.


Sam
Samantha (Sam) joins Leopold Community Bank® branch after strong customer service experience in the retail and food service industry. She resides in Ocean Grove and enjoys playing soccer and travelling. She is keen to pursue a career in the banking and finance sector and looks forward to being involved in the local community of Leopold.
