Our Branch

A significant amount of work and public consultation has been undertaken in relation to the feasibility of establishing the Logan Village Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank.

A group of interested community members was briefed by Bendigo Bank during November 2005 in relation to the proposal to establish Logan Village Community Bank® Branch‚ and a committee formed to evaluate the proposal.

A preliminary public meeting was held to discuss the Community Bank® concept and the steps required to establish a Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank at Logan Village. As a result‚ the committee engaged an independent consultant‚ MGI White Hancock to conduct a feasibility study in relation to the proposal. During the feasibility study process‚ the Logan Village Steering Committee gained 431 responses to its survey for Indicative Pledges of support for the development of the Community Bank®. Of these‚ 162 pledges were received from businesses in the area. The results of the feasibility study were presented to the committee at a meeting held on 12 April 2006 and it was unanimously voted to proceed towards the establishment of the Logan Village Community Bank® Branch.

The Logan Country Community Bank® Branch was officially opened on the 30th November 2006.
