The Mildura Centro branch originally opened on the 14th of January 1985 at Shop 123, Mildura Plaza as Bendigo Building Society. The branch opened off with only two staff, a Branch Manager and one Customer service officer (teller).
In 1995 Bendigo Building Society became Bendigo Bank as it continually began to grow after acquiring National Mortgage Market Corporation Limited
As the bank began to expand even more, so too did the Mildura Plaza Branch. In 2005 the branch had outgrown their original building and moved into the newly renovated Plaza at Shop 68-69 expanding into a building 4 times the size of the original site.
In 2007 Bendigo bank merged with Adelaide bank and became Bendigo and Adelaide Bank.
In 2013 the branch had started to become outdated and needed a revamp to a new modern feel. In February the branch underwent a beautiful new transformation with paintwork, carpets and furniture.
